- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- Cut your broccoli off the stalk. (Make sure it is dry.)
- Sprinkle a little bit of olive oil over the top of the broccoli. Then add a little salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix together.
- Place seasoned broccoli on a sheet pan and roast in the oven for about 8-10 minutes, or until the broccoli is slightly browned and crispy.
Believe it or not, I have messed this incredibly simple recipe up before. One time I rinsed the broccoli and forgot to pat it dry. There was too much moisture on it and it ended up steaming (which was not nearly as good).
They key is to keep the broccoli pretty dry! Just put a dash of olive oil on it. You want it to roast and get a little brown and crispy!
