herbs of choice (oregano, basil, thyme, rosemary)
food processor or mortar and pestle
jars for herbs
- Pick and clean herbs. Dry completely!
- Tie herbs in small bundles and hang them upside down in a safe place for about 4 weeks.
- Take the herb leaves off the stems and grind until fine.
- Store in glass jars.
Make sure your herbs dry COMPLETELY before hanging them to dry out to prevent mold.
